As human beings, we all share the desire for happiness and meaning in our lives. According to my spiritual father, His Holiness the XIV Dalai Lama, the ability to find true happiness resides within each of us. My beloved spiritual brother, Tsem Tulku Rinpoche, writes "What you can and cannot do is your own convention... All practices of dharma are to lead us to the subtle mind." And how do we get there? Through listening and contemplation, the collection of vast merits and through our constant and focused effort.
